Obituary of MAHENDRABHAI A. PATEL

Mahendrabhai A. Patel passed away Tuesday evening, December 8, 2020 at the Mount Sinai Medial Center on Manhattan, NY. He was 84. Born in Dharmaj, Gujarat, India, he immigrated to the United States in 1984, settling in Parsippany, NJ. He had been a resident of Lake Hopatcong for the last 16 years. Mr. Patel earned his Bachelors Degree in Science while in India. A chemist, he was a business owner in India preceding his retirement. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hasumati M. Patel; his son, Mithilesh M. Patel in April of this year; and three siblings, Natubhai Patel, Bipin Patel, and Panna Patel. Survivors include his wife, Hemaben V. Patel; three children, Mukesh M. Patel of Livingston, NJ, Dipti V. Patel of Florida, and Manoj M. Patel, which whom he lived in Lake Hopatcong, NJ; two siblings, Chandrakant Patel of Parsippany, NJ and Baku Patel of Parsippany, NJ; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Due to concerns with the Covid epidemic, and at the family's request, Funeral Services and Cremation at the Rosedale Crematory will be private.
