Maureen B. Clark (nee Daley) passed peacefully away Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Maureen had lived in Pompton Plains, and for over 50 years in Montville, before returning to Pompton Plains two years ago.
She earned her Bachelors degree in Education from the College of St. Elizabeth in 1959.
For over 20 years, Maureen was employed primarily as a special needs teacher serving in the school districts of Pompton Plains, Sterling, and Mendham. After leaving the field of education, she was an extraordinary real estate agent in Morris County for over 25 years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Raymond J. Clark; three beloved sons, Thomas E. Clark of Lake Hopatcong, Edward R. Clark of Mountain Lakes, and Brian P. Clark (wife Mary and her daughter M.P.) of Greenville, SC; her sister Betty Moran of Buffalo, NY; and two cherished grandchildren, Garrett and Bentley Clark of Greenville, SC.
Maureen was predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Mary Daley, three brothers, Buddy Daley, Edwin Daley, and Thomas Daley; and two sisters, Janet Daley and Lorraine Beake.
In addition to her unending love for Ray, her boys, and her grandchildren, Maureen loved to cook and entertain for her family and friends, sitting by the pool, the beach, chocolate, Clemson football, her Dobermans (Dante and Casey), and Frank Sinatra.
