My Dear, Dear Friend, our hearts are sad and broken to hear of Louie's passing. Wonderful memories will forever be with all who he touched. We are sending much love to all of you at this very difficult time. And, yes, he did make the best meatballs ever.
With all of our love now and always,
Doug and Sharon

My heart is broken. My main man is gone. Louie tried to show me how to drive a stick with his 57 chevy, that was how close we were. Will always be glad that we stayed in touch though 52 years (wow). I will never forget cruising with the nips, Lake Hopatcong, Booton Bridge, hanging on the corner, New Years Eve party in the Chevy, Seaside. When no one else was there, he was. Thank you for the memories. Love you and one day you will hear the ear shattering "LOUIE". I`m coming to meet you.

My father loved many things in life. Good food , drinks, feeding others, old classic cars, and rescuing animals. He was fiercly loyal to the ones he loved. He wa super proud of his Italian culture and taught me about it. He loved reminiscing about how him and his friends would have fun. He coached my soccer, jumped in to help me girl scouts. He was my Rollercoaster buddy when I was to short to ride them on my own (still barely make thr cut) , he loved nature and science and encouraged me to be the same. His passion for animals was always there. He lit up like a kid on Christmas each time he saw my dog and his last smile was for her. I will miss hearing his voice and talking to him about her antics and how I'm doing in nursing school. I know he is up in heaven eating king crab legs and drinking good beer with his friends surrounded by all his dogs at his feet begging for some crab. I'm so glad he is no longer in pain and free of his physical body.
