Vincenza Gambino (nee Martorana) passed away peacefully Thursday morning, Jan. 14, 2021 at Sycamore at East Hanover. She was 97. Born in Campoerale, Italy, Mrs. Gambino immigrated to the United States in 1951 settling in Bloomfield. She had also lived in Belleville and East Orange before coming to East Hanover over 30 years ago. A longtime seamstress in the Bloomfield area, she and her husband Francesco also owned and operated Bee & Tee Luncheonette in Belleville. Mrs. Gambino was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church where she served in the Rosary Altar Society and the choir, and a member of the East Hanover Senior Citizens Club. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francesco; a daughter, Palma Ur; and a brother, Joseph Saverio Martorana; she is survived by her loving daughter, Louisa "Gina" Hamilton; three grandsons, Anthony Ur, Kevin Ur, and David Hamilton; and two great-grandsons, Aeden and Xakari Hamilton.
