Neil Koert passed away suddenly January 21, 2021 at his home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. He was 62.
Born in Paterson, NJ, he was a lifelong resident of Lake Hiawatha.
Neil had a long career in grocery store management. He ha managed various stores including Grand Union, Stop and Shop, and most recently. Foodtown in North Arlington before becoming ill.
Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Solvy Koert; a brother, Paul Koert; and a sister, Carol Koert; he is survived by his loving wife, Carmita Guerra-Koert; two step-daughters, Christina Jimenez and Jessika Glenn; and five step-grandchildren, Nathan, Gemma, Bennett, Greyson, and Lennon.
At the family's request, arrangements will be private.
