Obituary of ARMANDO MACEDO

Armando Macedo passed away peacefully Friday evening, February 26, 2021 at Atlantic Hospice at Morristown Medical Center. He was 91. Born in Famalicao, Portugal, he immigrated to the United States in 1973, settling in Garfield, NJ. He was a resident of the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany for the last 15 years. Mr. Macedo had worked as a chemist with the Marcal Paper Company of Paterson for many years. He also was a real estate broker with the Rosa Agency in Newark for 25 years, retiring 21 years ago. Armando was preceded in death by a son, Antonio Macedo in 2020. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Grace M. (nee Garcia); a son Carlos Macedo and his wife, Toni Ann of Lake Hiawatha; his daughter, Maria Stoia of Toms River; a daughter-in-law, Sheila Macedo of Toms River; seven brothers and sisters in Portugal; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
