Obituary of SETH ISAAC DAVENPORT

Seth Isaac Davenport, 61, passed away Tuesday morning, March 2, 2021 at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was raised in West New York, and had lived in Cedar Grove before coming to the Towaco section of Montville Township 28 years ago. Mr. Davenport earned his Bachelors Degree from Fordham University and his Degree in Law from Seton Hall Law School. He was proprietor of the Law Offices of Seth Davenport in Montville and had served a municipal court judge in Montville for eight years. Seth was a parishioner of St. Pius X R.C. Church in Montville where he was a eucharistic minister and was member of the Knight of Columbus. Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Lois (nee Day) Davenport; two beloved sons, Andrew J. Davenport and his wife, Melissa of Verona, and Adam N. Davenport of Towaco; three dear siblings, Lewis Davenport of Westwood, Jackye Maduro and her husband, Robert of Aruba, and Debra Sedor and her husband, John of Florida; and two cherished grandsons, Matthew and Benjamin. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for memorial gifts to St. Jude Children's Hospital (www.stjude.org).
