Obituary of JOANNE L. LAWLAR

Joanne L. Lawlar (nee Raab) passed away peacefully Friday morning, March 12, 2021 at her Lake Hiawatha, NJ home. She was 70. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was raised in Queens, NY and had lived in Montclair, NJ before coming to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany in 1986. Mrs. Lawlar was a pastoral associate with St. Jude Thaddeus R.C. Church in Budd Lake. Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Lawlar; parents, Joseph T. and Alton B. (nee Jacobson) Raab; and a brother, John J. Raab. Survivors include her dear friend, Jane Ryan; a sister, Marie Raab Fitzgerald, a brother, Paul Raab; her "favorite brother-in-law", John Fitzgerald; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Raab, Cheryl Marshall-Petricoff, Emi Yasumura Ringler, Nora Yasumura, Marylouise Coglianese, Padraic Fitzgerald, and Sean Fitzgerald; great-nieces and nephews, Christina Raab Oranges, Eliza Petricoff, Midori Fitzgerald, Finola Fitzgerald, Jacklyn Coglianese, Amani Marshall, Adin Petricoff, Jorden Ringler, and Ronan Fitzgerald; a great-great niece, Alessandra Oranges; a great-great-nephew, Anthony Oranges; and her "beloved cat-children", Annie and Sienna.
