Obituary of RICHARD L. WANNER

Richard L. Wanner, 84, passed away Thursday morning, April 15, 2021 at The Chelsea at Montville. Born in Orange, NJ, he had lived in West Orange and West Caldwell before coming to Montville Township over 50 years ago. Mr. Wanner served in the United States Army National Guard before his honorable discharge in 1962. He worked as a silk screen printer for Panel Graphics, later known as Performance Coatings of West Caldwell for many years, retiring 11 years ago. Mr. Wanner's pride and joy was spending time with his family. He enjoyed his weekend getaways with the love of his life, Ellie, and their friends to Wildwood Crest/Cape May, AC, and Poconos. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Wanner in 2012. Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Eleanor J. (nee Gaczek); two beloved daughters, Laura Cerligione and her husband, Nick of Randolph, and Christine Cicenia and her partner, Sam Passarella of Rockaway; and five cherished grandchildren, Michael Wanner, Nicholas and Vincent Cerligione, and Marisa and Matthew Cicenia. . In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for memorial gifts to either The Alzheimer's Association or Montville First Aid Squad.
