Obituary of MARK RUSSELL ERNST

Mark Russell Ernst passed away suddenly Thursday evening, May 13, 2021, at his home in Manhattan, NY. He was 56. Born in Far Rockaway, NY, Mark was raised and resided in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ, before moving to New York City in 1987. He earned his bachelor's degree in marketing and international business from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. A fashion executive, Mark owned and operated a sales and marketing agency for over 20 years, representing European brands and introducing them to the American market. He also held positions with global brands such as Hugo Boss, Moncler, Bidermann Industries, and most recently, 120% Lino of Italy. His tireless work ethic, knowledge of the apparel industry, integrity and sense of opportunity was a defining factor to those who knew him in business and in life. Preceded in death by his father, Herbert Ernst, Mark is survived by his beloved mother, Sondra Ernst, née Kantor, of Randolph, NJ; three loving Siblings, Susan Kaminsky of Randolph, NJ, Elisa Rosenberg of Southport, NC, and Lawrence Ernst of Parsippany, NJ; and five nieces and nephews.
