Obituary of RUTH ANN HIGGINS

Ruth Ann Higgins (nee Hubbard), 75, passed away Sunday afternoon at Brookdale of West Orange. Born in Corvallis, OR, Mrs. Higgins was raised in Montclair, NJ, and was a longtime resident of the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany, NJ before moving to West Orange, NJ 14 years ago. A graduate of Montclair High School, Mrs. Higgins was a homemaker who also lovingly worked as a caregiver for her own grandchildren and for the children of family and friends for many years before becoming ill. Preceded in death by her husband William in 2007, Ruth is survived by her two loving children, William Higgins and his wife, Deanna of Medford, NJ, and Ann Peri and her husband, Robert of Livingston, NJ; her siblings, Philip Hubbard of Fort Plain, NY and Edith Antoniou of Holiday, FL; five grandchildren, Brendan, Colleen, Ali, Grace, and Max; and one great-grandson, Adrian.
