Obituary of ALICIA HERVIA

Alicia Hervia (nee Munoz) passed away Monday evening, July 5, 2021 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ. She was 91. Born in Santiago, Chile, she was a longtime resident of Chile before immigrating to the United States in 1973. She had settled in Boonton and later moved to the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany in 1978. A homemaker, Mrs. Hervia was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hector S. Hervia in 2003. Survivors include her five children, Hector Hervia of Lake Hiawatha, Alicia Salazar and her husband Jose of Lake Hiawatha, Elizabeth Moraga and her husband Eduardo of Lake Hiawatha, Leonardo Hervia, and Jessica Hervia and her husband, Julio Rivera of Lake Hiawatha; eight grandsons, Andres and Adrian Salazar, Eduardo, Marco, Sergio, and Victor Moraga, and Alexander and Marcello Rivera; and four great-grandchildren, Eduardo, Isabelle, Alicia, and Makenzie.
