Obituary of WALTER ELIAS MORALES VARGAS

Walter Elias Morales Vargas passed away Wednesday morning, August 18, 2021 at Morristown Medical Center following a valiant battle with throat cancer. He was 50. Born in Manzanotes, Zacapa, Guatemala, he came to the United States many years ago. He was a resident of Parsippany. Mr. Morales Vargas had been a school teacher while in Guatemala, and had worked at the Parsippany Applebees for the last 16 years. He is survived by his wife, Herlinda Calderon; his parents, Elias Morales Arriaza and Odelia H. Vargas Barahona; three children, Walter E. Morales Calderon, Heber D. Moreales Calderon, and Estefani D. Morales Calderon; and three siblings, Mariela Morales Vargas, Jairo Morales Vargas, and Gervin Morales Vargas. He will be laid to rest in his native Guatemala.
