Dan and I met early freshman year at Rutgers Engineering when we happened to sit next to each other in a class. It's been an honor of a lifetime to have such an enduring friendship with such a smart and wonderful engineer and exceptional person. We were students, roommates, lab-partners, cooking buddies, lab report partners, study team partners, and so much more. A natural born story teller, he was always upbeat, positive and fully engaged in everything we did together. Dan's parents were wonderful, kind people. His dad was incredibly talented and a pleasure to engage with and learn from. Dan was so very much like him. With his passing, a measure of joy seems removed from this world.
Iris, Amy, Jason & Mark - may Dan's memory always be a blessing to you and to us fortunate enough to have known him.

It goes without saying that Dan will be missed by all of us here at True North Sailing. I will always remember Dan and I chatting on the dock strategizing on when we would be assigned to sail on the 'same boat'. What a pleasure it was having his happy go lucky personality onboard. It was a shock that Dan passed so suddenly. I've only known Dan since 2015 when I joined Solvaren, but he was a joy to work with and I was looking forward to many more years and accomplishments together. No matter what type of discussions we had, personal or professional, I always learned something from him and always had a laugh. He was genuinely a good-hearted person.
He was the type of person where even in the rare times when we had a disagreement, I could rest assured that nothing was taken personally, that we would still be friends and that he would listen to what I was saying even if he disagreed.
He will truly be missed.
I hope his family can find some comfort in knowing how much of a positive impact he had on the lives of the people around him.

I was saddened to learn of Dan's passing. We were all praying for his quick recovery. I enjoyed working with Dan for many years.
