Robert Owen Brock Sr. died Saturday morning at his home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. He was 66.
Born and raised in Long Island City, (Queens) NY, he was a resident of Lake Hiawatha for the last 27 years.
He was employed as a maintenance repairman for the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills for 12 years, retiring last January. Previously, he worked as a truck driver with H.G. Ollendorff Co. of Queens NY for 37 years. Bob also very much enjoyed his part time job as a salesman with Riccardi Brothers in Parsippany from which he recently retired only when he could no longer work due to illness.
He was an avid golfer and a huge NY Giants fan.
Preceded in death by a sister, Jody Rifkin, he is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Marilyn J. (nee Roeser) Brock; two sons, Robert O. Brock Jr. and his wife Michelle of Rockaway, and Steven W. Brock of Lake Hiawatha; his siblings, Edith Luff, Betsy Touloumis and Thaddeus W. Brock; and two granddaughters, Kyla and Jayda.
