Helen Kolanich passed away Wednesday morning, November 7, 2012 at Care One at Morris in Parsippany. She was 90.
Ms. Kolanich was born and raised in Little Falls, and had also lived in Caldwell before moving to Parsippany in 1993.
She had worked at Kearfott-Singer in Little Falls many years, and later with Sterns Department Store in Wayne before her retirement. Being unable to remain retired, she took a job as a hostess at McDonalds in Fairfield for several years.
Helen was an avid gardner and dancer. She was a member of the Baldwin Oaks and Parsippany Senior Citizens.
She is survived by a niece, Judith Van Beesel of Little Falls.
