Obituary of YOLANDE LUCIA

Yolande Lucia died peacefully and surrounded by her family on Thursday evening, November 8, 2012 at the home of her sister in Parsippany. She was 63. Ms. Lucia was born in Paris, France, and came to the United States in 1968, settling in Parsippany. She later lived in Bloomfield and Irvington before moving to Rockaway 15 years ago. She was a production planner with Abbott Laboratories in Whippany for over 25 years before retiring in 2002. Yolande was cherished by her sisters, Rosalie, Gilda, Raphaele, and Martine; and her brothers, Francois, Richard, Claude, and Gus. She was a beloved "Tatie" to her nieces, Nicole, Christina, Maria, Eleni, and Christine; her nephew, Philip; great-niece Alycia; and great-nephews Tristan, Bobby, and Daniel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105-1942.
