Obituary of JOHN MAGOO M. MURGOLO

John M. "Magoo" Murgolo died peacefully, Wednesday morning, November 21, 2012 at Bayonne Hospital. He was 87. Born in Jersey City, he was a lifelong resident. John worked as a truck driver with Hennis freight Lines in Jersey City and with the Jersey City Board of Education until retiring in 1991. He was also a longtime musician and band leader with the Johnny Mack Trio. Preceded in death by his wife Yolanda in 1996, he is survied by his son, Michael Murgola and his wife Donna; two daughters, Phyllis Kramer and her husband Dennis and Sandra Ippolito and her husband Philip, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, November 24, 2-4pm at the Greenville Memorial Home, 374 Danforth Ave., Jersey City. Funeral services will be at 3:30pm during visitation. Private cremation will follow.
