Sophie (nee Kovalcik) McCabe of Lake Hiawatha, NJ passed away on November 30, 2012 at the age of 89. Born in Montville she had lived in Lake Hiawatha for several years. She was a machine operator and supervisor for Boonton Molding Company of Boonton for 20 years before retiring in 1985. Sophie, predeceased by her husband William McCabe, is survived by her brother Joseph Kovalcik, Sr. and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at the S.J. Priola Parsippany Funeral Service, 60 North Beverwyck Road, Lake Hiawatha on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Rockaway Valley Cemetery, Valley Road, Boonton Township, N.J. in lieu of flowers please make donations in memory of William and Sophie McCabe to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Florida 32256 www.woundedwarriorproject.org
