Obituary of HOWARD R. FERGUSON

Howard R. Ferguson died peacefully Sunday afternoon, March 10, 2013 at Renaissance Gardens Rehabilitation Center at Cedar Crest Village, Pompton Plains. He was 85. Born and raised in Bayonne, he was a longtime resident of Parsippany before moving to the Pompton Plains section of Pequannock Township in 2005. Mr. Ferguson earned his BS in Management from Seton Hall University in 1963. He had been employed as a Sales Manager with President Container Co. of Moonachie for five years before retiring in 2004. Previously, he worked in the same capacity with Natcontainer Corp. of North Bergen for over 25 years. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church in Parsippany. Mr. Ferguson was preceded in death by his loving wife Rosanne (nee Caiola) in 2002; and by a brother, David Ferguson. Survivors include his children, Jo Ann Yanni and her husband Richard of Watchung, and Richard Ferguson and his wife Donna Marie of Parsippany; a sister, Joan Lopez of Little Egg Harbor; three grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, and Gabriella Ferguson; and many nieces and nephews.
