Obituary of MARCIA M. DeMARE

Marcia M. DeMare (nee Zollner) passed away Thursday morning, March 21, 2013 surrounded by her family at her home in Parsippany. She was 74. Born in Bronxville, NY, she had lived in Tuckahoe, NY and Boonton, NJ before coming to Parsippany in 1971. She earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration from the Green Mountain College in Vermont. Mrs. DeMare had worked as a court clerk with the Morris County Special & Civil Court in Morristown for 25 years before recently retiring. Previously, she had been a co-owner with her late husband of the Route 46 Recreation Center in Parsippany for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Patrick R. DeMare in 2005. Survivors include her three children, Patrick R. DeMare III and his wife Karen of Hillsborough, Linda F. Montefusco and her husband John Jr. of Parsippany, and Peter A. DeMare and his wife Tracey of Parsippany; a brother, Philip Zollner of Howell; and seven grandchildren, Ashley, Patrick IV, Alex, John III (J.J.), Eric, Olivia, and Peter Jr. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Amrican Cancer Society would be most appreciated.
