Obituary of DOMENICK FERRAGINE

Please share a memory of DOMENICK to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Domenick Ferragine, 82, died Friday morning, July 12, at the Daughters of Israel Care Center in West Orange following an extended illness. Born and raised in Bloomfield, he was a longtime resident of the Pine Brook section of Montville before moving to Fairfield 8 years ago. Mr. Ferragine served in the United States Navy during peacetime. A landscape architect, he was the owner of D. Ferragine Landscaping in Montville for over 40 years before his retirement 18 years ago due to health concerns. Mr. Ferragine was active at St. Thomas More R.C. Church in Fairfield where he served on the Grounds Committee and had done much of the landscaping around the parish campus. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beverly "Diane" (nee Ripley); his two daughters, Donna Brillante and husband Rick of Fairfield, and Mary-Ann Wallace and husband Don of Rockaway; a brother Pasquale Ferragine and wife Julie of Fairfield; four grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Amanda, and Domenick; a nephew, Sal Ferragine; and a niece, Rita Poole. In light of Domenick being a heart transplant recipient, the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Sharing Network.
