Sr. Julia was my 3rd grade teacher. I met Sr again through a mutual friend Fr Joe Patrillo. He called me over to Assumption Church in Roselle Park when she was there visiting, invited her home for dinner. When she retired I went to see her at St. Anns Villa in Madison.
I was very happy to have my family meet one of my teachers who kept me on the strait and narrow and installed a deep religious value in me.

My deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers for the family of Sister Julia.
Fifth grade would have been hard without her guiding hand. I will always be grateful for her presence in my life. God bless you Sister Julia, rest in peace.
