John served in the Air Force for four years, and remembered that time warmly for the rest of his life. He had a lifelong passion for planes and boats. He loved music, was an accomplished and talented pianist, but most of all, he loved his family. He was a man of deep Christian faith, and lived a life of constant giving and incredible generosity.
