Janet Tsai passed away Monday morning, December 9, 2013 at The New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, following a six-month battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was 43.
Born in New York, NY, she was raised in Montville, NJ before returning to New York, NY some years ago.
Ms. Tsai earned her Bachelors of American Science at Pace University and subsequently studied two years at the Pacific School of Oriental Medicine.
She was a certified acupuncturist in the states of California, New Jersey and New York and had worked as an acupuncturist in New York City for the last 15 years before becoming ill. She had appeared on The Rachel Ray Show and The Dr. Oz Show.
Janet was a loveable, charming and active lady who enjoyed life.
Survivors include her parents Dr. Yan San and Pai Ho (Lai) Tsai of Montville; two sisters, Chieh Ju Tsai and Chieh Fhuei Dijon both of New York, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Chieh Jen Tsai.
In lieu of flowers, donations to breast cancer research would be appreciated.
