To the family of Maureen: Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I worked with her at the ARC Activity Center in Essex County, and was privileged to know her. What a warm and caring person. So capable and concerned about our clients. Always a smile. The photo above captures how I remember her. She touched the lives of so many. May the love and support of family and friends help to comfort you at this time. If it's possible to be notified when the memorial service is, I would appreciate that. I worked with Maureen from 1976 - 1979 at the Essex County Center in West Caldwell (referred to as the country club at its opening). We had a great time both in and out of the classroom. Her mom Vi hosted my baby shower in her home. Some of my fondest memories of teaching were those 3 years, thanks in part, to Maureen. May she rest in peace and her memory be eternal. Maureen, my cousin, my friend, I will miss our talks and laughter! Your spirit and passion for those that you love will always bring a smile to my face. In spite of all of your challenges there was never a conversation where you didn't ask how everyone else was doing with genuine interest and love.
