I knew Pete for 70 years, he and his family lived up the street (W 123rd) from us and he and I went to Corpus Christi. It is so nice to see all the good things said about him, especially as a Yankee fan. He and I started going to Yankee Stadium around 1950 and sat in the bleachers through Sunday doubleheaders. It should be remembered that he was not only a fan but an avid softball and stickball player and was elected the manager of the Moylan Tavern softball team. Pete had a way of making everyone around him enjoy life. His presence in this world made it a far better place. RIP

I will always remember my mom giving you the platter for dinner because her plates were to small. You never let me forget my saying "my kids will ever do that". This Walsh girl will always have good memories, thank you for that. Take care and keep them laughing up there.

We met Pete through our long friendship with Colleen and Jack. I spent many times at their wonderful family gatherings with Pete. We always talked about the Yankees and their pitching rotation. We complained together about how much Steiner paid for this player and that player. My favorite was talking about A-Rod with him. Boy did his blood boil when we lamented about what a bust he was for the Yanks!
Rest in Peace Pete. It was an honor knowing you.

I. I grew up with Pete we were very very good friends. Even after we all sort of drifted away I will always remember the times we had in the OLD NEIGHBORHOD. I made a few reunions and had many conversations with Pete talking about the many many experiences and believe Me there was many.
He was and will always be a very dear friend and even though we will miss him I know he is in Heaven With Maureen.
