Obituary of PETER E. McKENNA

Peter E. McKenna, 78, passed away Monday evening, Aug. 4, 2014 at Morristown Medical Center. Born and raised in New York, NY, he had been a resident of Parsippany since 1969. Mr. McKenna served in the United States Marine Corps during peacetime. He had worked as a driver with Penn Truck Lines of North Bergen for over 30 years, retiring in 1993. Mr. McKenna was a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle Church, The Parsippany Seniors, and the American Legion Post in Westwood, NJ. He was also an avid N.Y Yankees fan. Preceded in death by his wife Maureen A. (nee Walsh) in 2005, he is survived by his children, Peter J. "PJ" McKenna and his wife Pam, Timothy McKenna and his wife Sabrina, and Colleen Reich and her husband Jack; his three siblings, Patsy Ryan, John McKenna, and Margaret McGuire; and 7 grandchildren, Ailene, Katie, Shane, Kyra, Sydney, Jessica, and Abigail.
