Sister Anita was an outstanding teacher. Sad to hear of her passing but glad she lived a full, amazing life. Her energy and passion were boundless. She really cared about her students. And of course, I'll always remember her wicked sense of humor. She will live on forever in her students' hearts. :heart: :heart: :heart:

She was a GREAT teacher. She had a strong american accent, but boy, she knew her Spanish. I remember her believing in me more than myself. How disappointed she was that another student got the Spanish award my freshman year at Paramus Catholic. All because I didn't study for the final! But that gift of language I now use, as a home care RN in the Bronx. Some day I'll "get on the trolley "Sister! Vaya con Dios!
