As her loving daughter I offer the following corrections:
Phyllis Amato (nee Sasso) passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 6:15 am at St. Clare's Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ. at the age of 98.
She was born in Bronx, NY and raised in Lodi, NJ. After marriage she resided in Garfield, NJ and in 1958 her husband built their home in Pine Brook, NJ.
She worked as a seamstress for many years, until she retired from Bamberger's (Macy's) of Wayne, NJ.
She is preceded in Death by her husband, Angelo S Amato (2007), her brothers, Nicholas, Ralph and Frederick Sasso, her sisters, Jean Radosti, Josephine Compher and Rose Sasso.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Amato of Pine Brook, NJ, her daughter, Linda Amato-Creeden of Las Vegas, NJ, her brother, Louis Sasso of Clifton, NJ, her adopted sister Roseann Walley of Lancaster, CA. and 4 grand-daughters, Kim, Danielle, Alane and Caitlyn.
At the request of her son, she will be cremated and there will be no services.
