Phyllis Amato (nee Sasso) passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. She was 98.
Born and raised in New York, NY, she came to the Pine Brook section of Montville Township in 1958.
Mrs. Amato was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo S. Amato in 2007; and her siblings, Nicholas Sasso, Raymond Sasso, Frederick Sasso, Jean Rudsti, Josephine Comfer, and Roseann Wally.
Survivors include: a son, Dennis Amato of Pine Brook; a daughter, Linda Amato Creeden of Henderson, NV; a brother, Louis Sasso; and three grandchildren.
At the family's request, funeral arrangements are private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
