I met Joe and his family through Craigslist when I went to purchase some speakers he had. He tried to reassure me about some scary medical tests I was going through at the time, and although my time with Joe was very brief, I was quite impressed with him and his courage. Thank you Joe, whenever I play records you will be there.

I had the pleasure to work with Joe, his experience always would shine thru his outstanding work ethic. Always with a joke and a laugh when times were rough with projects, you will be missed dearly.

I worked with Joe at Celgene. He was a very thoughtful man, always seeking to understand more. I am very sorry for your loss, may he rest in peace.

George and I went to see Joe right before he passed on Monday night. On the way home as we were driving down Rt. 80 we saw a shooting star. George looked at me and said did you see that? It was SO bright and traveling very fast but it was over in a moment. We were both amazed at seeing it and it was beautiful. We rode the rest of the way in silence and as I was thinking, I thought this is how our lives are. They're short and bright and beautiful. We will always miss "Joey" but we are so glad he has been a part of our lives and we will carry him with us always. Being kind to one another and giving each other space to be who we truly are is the best gift we can give to our fellow travelers in this life. God bless your family, now and always,
Lynne Rutledge

I was working with Joe, when we were at Pfizer (he was in Parsippany plant and I was at NYC). He was a truly gentleman and it was a pleasured working with him. Javier Alva
