Joseph F. Rutledge, Jr., of Parsippany, age 61, died Monday evening at the home he resided in for over 57 years, with his wife by his side.
Joe was a graduate of Parsippany Hills High School and County College of Morris, and received his Bachelor's degree from Centenary College. He was employed in the Informational Technology field having worked at Toshiba America, Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson, Celegene, and Express Scripts. He liked his music loud, his cars fast and his wine big and red.
He was the son of the late Gertrude Rutledge (nee Klahm) and Joseph F. Rutledge Sr. and is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kathy (nee Mary K. Hruby); his daughters, Sarah of Nicktown, PA and Rachel of Parsippany, NJ; his sister, Louise of Richmond, VA.; his brother, George and his wife Lynne of Mt. Bethel, PA; his father and mother-in-law, Michael and Marie Hruby of West End, NC; his sister-in-law, Trisha Hruby and her wife, Kim; three nephews and two nieces. He will be missed by them as well as his extended family and many friends.
