Obituary of JED B. ROGOVIN

Jed B. Rogovin, 81, passed away Monday evening, February 29, 2016 at Morristown Medical Center.
Mr. Rogovin was born in Jersey City, NJ. He was raised in Teaneck, NJ and had lived in New York, New Mexico and Montville, NJ before moving to Rockaway Township 5 years ago.
He earned his Bachelors Degree from Syracuse University and his Masters in Business from Columbia University.
Mr. Rogovin served in the United States Army during the Korean war.
A business consultant, he had worked with Hoffman LaRoche, Eastern Airlines and CBS as a merger acquisition specialist. He was subsequently a self-employed business consultant before retiring 22 years ago.
Mr. Rogovin had served on the Montville Township Board of Education for over a decade.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail (nee Pollack); his brother, Charles Rogovin, his son-in-law, Gary Schoonover, and his grandson, Brandon Schoonover.
Mr. Rogovin is survived by two daughters: Lisa Swabsin and her husband Robert of Middletown, NJ, and Nancy Schoonover of Lake Hiawatha, NJ, the "daughter of his heart" Adrienne Senatore of Colorado; and five grandchildren, Jennifer and Kelsey Schoonover, Collin Swabsin, and Jake and Greer Below.
