Obituary of ROBERT J. TORRE

Robert J. Torre, 70, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Newark, Mr. Torre was a lifelong resident of Belleville before recently moving to Springfield. He served in the United States Marines Corps during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in the Philippines. Mr. Torre had worked as a hairstylist for many years at various salons, most recently The Palm Salon in Millburn. Survivors include his daughter, Gina Dale and her husband Joseph of Wayne; two sisters, Vivian C. Cleffi and husband James of Pine Brook, and Dora Gail Spicer and her husband Glenn of Newton; two grandchildren, Joseph and Amanda Dale; and six nieces and nephews, Vincent and Jason Cleffi, and Ashley, Serina, Desiree and Gavin Spicer. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Disabled American Veterans would be appreciated.
