I met sister Agnes during my time in school at College of Saint Elizabeth. Her care and compassion were evident in all her efforts at the school including all of the lovely blooms in the greenhouse and Shakespeare Garden. Highlights include many hours of gardening- learning about new species of plants, the gift of several night blooming serius cacti plants, a tour of the church bell tower on my graduation day, taking care of the other sisters in the convent, dining with the sisters on multiple occasions, and all of the stories shared about her life experiences. My thoughts of her live on in bringing kindness to the students I teach and every plant I grow. Care and nurturing are keys to growth in both.

Sister Agnes was my 8th grade teacher at All Saints School in 1958; she left a tremendous impression on me. Sister Agnes had a heart of gold and filled with warmth. I was never so impressed by any other. Rest in peace Sister, and may God bless forever.

I met Sister Agnes Vincent when I heard about her Shakespeare's Garden. I made a trip to see it and as soon as she saw my friend and mem there, she came down to give us a personal tour! I immediately connected to her. I have never met a more sincere, purely good person in my life. She was the most extraordinary person I had ever met and visited her every year after. When I went today to visit her for Christmas, I learned she had died and was buried this morning. I didn't expect to be hit as hard as I was with that news but I was shaken by it. I know she is in a better place but knowing I can not visit her anymore is a sad end of an era for me. She was truly a living saint! I am privileged to have met her.

I had Sr. Agnes at the Academy of St. Aloysius. She was a wonderful teacher, mentor and inspiration. She also came to our 50th high school reunion in June 2014. She looked wonderful and was still so engaging. It was a privilege to have had her and known her.

I only met Sister once and I liked her right off the bat. We met at the Shirley Temple Exhibit with her sister Mary. My prayers are with the family at this time. My husband's aunt Sister Mary Margaret McGovern is also a Sister of Charity from Elizabeth Seton College in the Bronx. She has fallen but is bouncing back. With her prayers and mine we wish the family well at this sad time. She is with the angels in heaven now.
