Jimmy was always there for me. We were both in business but not as competitors. He was always ready to offer advice for any situation that I thought he could help me with. I could always bounce ideas off of his experience. I will miss his easy smile and generosity. John LaForte

I met Jimmy on the first day of my job, as a teacher at Bergen St.School in Newark.He had been working there a number of years and I was fresh out of college. He took me under his wing to mentor me. Because of his kindness and advice, the transition from college student to teacher became much easier. I moved onto other schools, but never lost touch with Jimmy. I became good friends with his wife Ginny, and even did some babysitting for their two wonderful sons, so that they could go out to party! I have known Jimmy for over 30 years. He has touched many lives as a teacher, businessman and friend. I will miss his humor, calm nature and friendship. Rose LaForte
