My deepest sympathy to Angelo, Nicole, and your families. Steve loved you, his family, more than anything in life. He loved to talk about you all, and was so proud of everything you have become. His children, grandchildren, the loves in your life. You all, and Gloria made his life's dreams fulfilled.
Steve will always be the best man I have ever known. He was a beloved uncle to me, and he was there for me throughout my life. Later in life, he became my most trusted friend. I could talk to him about everything and anything. I have had countless conversations with him on the telephone, and with visits. I always left our conversations charged with encouragement, hope, and knowing I have him there for me always.
I am overwhelmed with sadness for all of us who love him. But I know in my heart, without a doubt, that Steve has already chased down an angel called Gloria, and he is making her laugh.
