Sister Michele and I wrote to each other on occasion and always sent each other Christmas cards with a letter. She would always keep me in her prayers and I would keep her in mine. She was firm with her discipline but kind and inspiring. It was my honor to know her. She will be missed and may she REST in God's peaceful arms.

Sister Michele was a wonderful teacher and role model, and as an adolescent I needed and benefited from her firm but kind guidance. It was also my good fortune to be able to stay in touch with her over the years. I'm sure her family, friends and former students certainly know how wonderful Sister Michele was and remains - I will always celebrate her memory and be thankful that I knew Sister Michele and learned from her.

Today, Sister Michele "saw" how much she was truly loved! And I'm sure many others wished they could have attended her beautiful viewing and Mass today.
Sister Michele, thank you for loving us, praying for us, believing in us, and teaching us the value of kindness and love!
The Hamot/Ryan family are humbled to have had you in our lives since you came to St. Philip the Apostle School!
