Obituary of DOLORES C. VENTRE

Dolores C. Ventre (nee Mott) passed away peacefully Thursday, March 15, at The Regency Grande Nursing Center in Dover. She was 85 years old. Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, she had lived in Hopatcong, NJ, and Port Charlotte, Fl. before coming to Parsippany, NJ. Mrs. Ventre had worked as a seamstress in the Paterson Mills, a nurse's aide at the Merry Heart Nursing Home, and as an administrator with Social Services in Port St. Lucie, Fl. before her retirement. She loved to line-dance and crochet. Mrs. Ventre was preceded in death by her husband, Louis in 2000, and by four brothers, Joseph, Dominic, William, and Robert Mott. Survivors include her children, Valerie Ventre and her fiancée Raymond of Denville, NJ, Lois Bakken and her fiancée Craig of Buena Park, CA, and Louis Ventre and his wife Christina of Wallington, NJ; eight grandchildren, Erica, Nicole, Bernadette, Justin, Chelsea, Maxwell, Carrie, and Suzanne; and two great-grandsons, Lucien and Liam.
