It's been almost one year since you have left us .... I trust my faith to know you are in peace - in a bliss unknown to our earthly understanding.
I miss you, Etta. - more today than ever. I always knew you were there. In all of our ups and downs...I always knew you were there. And now, I talk to you and make believe I hear your voice. Almost believing I would know exactly what you would say. I miss your laugh. I miss your 'logic' and sense of reality. I miss your 'listening'. I miss so 'much' more. I'm so sorry my beautiful friend for a LOT, and trust i will see you again!

I was privileged to serve with Etta on the New Jersey Hospice Veterans Partnership and learned so much from her. What I will always remember is her infectious smile, tireless energy, and devotion to serving others — especially New Jersey's veterans at the end of life. My deepest condolences to Etta's family on the loss of this compassionate dynamo!

Etta, I don't know where to begin or how to convey my thoughts. To say you impacted my life and the growth of my family does not do enough justice. You took my under your wing and grew my professional career to support me as a human being as a husband and father. You are directly responsible for the success I had in my life. I love you and the dedication you provided to fellow veterans like myself. You were, and still are, a true warrior. Your selflessness and dedication is heroic to say the least. Thank you Etta and I will always cherish what you did for my life.
