I have just received a copy of New York Life (NYL) News and become aware of Evelyn's passing. My sincere condolences to the family. May the memories and love shared always lift your spirits.
My best memory of Evelyn - it was 1998 and my job was relocated to NYL's Parsippany location from Manhattan. I did not know Evelyn before then, and I had only ever driven on the NJ Turnpike.
Evelyn was a blessing. She helped tremendously with my adjustment, directed me to the mall, the nearest supermarket, etc. So sorry for your loss.

To John, Linda, and Your Family,
I wish to offer my deepest sympathies for the loss of your sweet mother. Sending comforting prayers to you at this most difficult time.
You may remember that your mom and I worked together for 6 years at New York Life, where she was my secretary and part time life coach. :-) She always knew what to say to make things better.
She was enthusiastic, funny and could always light up a room. She was genuinely adored by those who worked with her and for good reason, she was unfailingly kind. And she spoke of you and Teddy with such love and joy. She will be dearly missed.
