Evelyn Minnie Tretin (nee Benedetto), 79, passed away Monday, Jan. 6, 2020 at St. Clare's Hospital at Denville.
Born in Flushing, NY, she had lived in Queens, NY before coming to Montville, NJ 27 years ago.
Mrs. Tretin had worked as an executive secretary and budget director with the NY Life Insurance Co. for over 35 years preceding her retirement.
She was a parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Parsippany.
Preceded in death by her husband Theodore Tretin, and her "special companion," Bentley, she is survived by her son, John Impenna and his fiancee, Angela of Montclair; her daughter, Linda Parrinello and her husband Salvatore of Denville; and her grandchildren, Salvatore J. Parrinello, and Kari & Taylor Milch.
