Sr. Mary Susan was a hidden saint! I knew her from the Bl. Miriam Teresa League with Sr. Zita and Sr. Ann Lucille. I was a CSE college student then and went on to become a Franciscan Sister. I kept in touch with Sr. Susan and had visited her at the Villa. No doubt in my mind she is in the eternal light and love of God. Sincere condolences to the family.

My memory of Aunt Joan is her warm smile. Even if she couldn't hear you she would smile. My mom raised her so growing up with a saint was beautiful. She always did whatever mom said without complaining. Even drove around with her . Mom was always a good driver till she hit a mailbox with Aunt Joan in the car. Aunt Joan woke her up . They made It home safe to my house. :heart: She always obeyed her Superiors too. Sr. Zita was with her always . She helped her drive too Aunt Joan didn't have a license but should have:heart: I'm sure they are going to meet in heaven . Oh she also was the designated chopper of onions and celery on Thanksgiving. Will miss you Aunt Joan and please be careful of stairs when meeting with St. Peter. May she Rest In Peace!!
