Dear Rachel,
What a priviledge and honor to have had your Mother in our lives all these years. She was much like a Mother to me. I love her and am so glad we will see her again. Jesus met her at the gates of heaven and she has now seen Him face to face. What joy she is in NOW.

Rachel,
I treasure the memories you shared wiht me about your mother and father and their efforts to help the poor. Ed and I are in New Mexico. I am attending the national meeting of the Catholic chaplains and will not be home until after the memorial mass. Know you are in my heart and prayers.

Dear Rachel and family: I was sorry to hear the news about Aunt Lupe, and feel so lucky to have been with her and with you on her 100th birthday.
