Dear Jay, Marcie, and Lynn
I still remember fondly the years we lived in my grandparents' house in Irvington. You were such a wonderful family. I remember Pete so well with his kind and smiling face. He took me along with him on my very first trout fishing trip. Fifteen minutes into the trip I fell on the slippery rocks and ice cold water filled my waders. we laughed and had a great day. Looking at Pete's photograph I notice that his warm smile never changed. I'm glad. I'm very sorry to have missed the wake, I would have liked to see you all again. Love to all.

we are so sorry we received notice of pete's death too late to pay our condolences at the funeral home.we would have been there to tell you all how much we liked pete. he was such a positive role model in both of our lives growing up in the Ukrainian church. he was a gentleman with a beautiful smile and quiet way about him that we admired so much.we speak of him often when we reminisce about the "good old days" at the church.i remember too how much my dad (Sam) loved to talk to pete about fishing. i only wish we had conveyed our feelings to pete when he was here on earth.we know there's a special place in heaven for him and a special place in our hearts forever. our deepest sympathy to all of you as you mourn the passing of a wonderful man who will always be remembered with fond memories and christian love. ted and daria

My fondest memories of Uncle Michael are remembering him sitting at the card table with my Dad, my grandpa and the other men with his confident tone and wonderful laugh. I also recall him down the shore fishing while Aunt Jay worked on her perfect tan. They were a beautiful couple; always caring and kind. My condolences are sent to Aunt Jay, Marcie and Lynn. May his memory be eternal. Much love. Elaine
