Obituary of DAVID SCOTT MYERS

David Scott Myers died Saturday, May 19, 2007 at his home in New Brunswick. He was 32. Born in Flushing, NY, he had lived in Westbury, NY and Parsippany before moving to New Brunswick. Mr. Myers was a 1993 graduate of Parsippany High School. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University in 1997 and was currently completing his PHD in Organic Chemistry at Rutgers University. He was employed as an instructor and tutor with the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Rutgers University. He was also supervisor of the chemistry department stock room at the university. An avid Giants fan, he was a member of the American Chemical Society. Survivors include his parents Alec J. and Jeanette C. (nee Goldschmitt) Myers of Parsippany; a sister, Lori Myers of Cedar Grove; and his maternal grandmother, Erna Goldschmitt of New York.
