To the family of Tom Massarella.
I was saddened to learn of Tom's sudden passing.I had known Tom for over 20 years and in all that time I've enjoyed a friendship, his knowledge, experience and dedication.
The legacy of Tom's passion for artistry and culture surpassed only by his integrity.
He will be missed but never forgotten.

My sincerest heartfelt sympathies to Tom's family. May God grant you peace and wisdom at this very difficult time, and the comfort in knowing that Tom is finally free from this weary world. For the better part of 30 years, although we never met, I knew Tom as a fine man of many interests, passions, and strong convictions -- as we all should choose to live our lives. I will sorely miss you my friend, but look forward to finally meeting you when I am lucky enough to reach your level. Godspeed Tom. Old Chinese proverb: All of life is a dream walking, all of death is a going home.

It is hard to believe at times that someone can be here one minute and the next be silenced. At this time I am sure that is especially true for family and close friends. Please accept my sincere condolences and know I am sorry for your loss.

I wish to convey my sympathy to the family of Tom.I never met him personaly but I did chat with him on Chinese collectables on the net and when I was just getting started he was a great influance on me and came open arms and always looking out for the little guy.Always wrote interesting articals on the collectable hobby. What you do in life effects those around you and Tom did that with a lot of people in a positive way.A good example for all.

I first met Tom in October of 2006 when we spent a week together in Macau. In that week, I was able to become a friend and will truly miss Tom. He had a passion and knowledge about his hobbies and was willing to share this knowledge with anyone who would listen. Light a few 2 grainers for me in that cracker playground Tom.

Tom was one of my firecracker collecting buddies. We both organized a trip to Macau in October of 2006. We both shared the same interests in Asia and many of the same things only found there. I will surely miss him.
