Mr. Thomas Walter Massarella died suddenly Friday afternoon, June 1, 2007 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover. He was 60.
Born and raised in New York, NY, he had lived in Boonton for 27 years before recently moving to Parsippany.
Mr. Massarella had served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
He was employed as a warehouse operations manager with Allied Building Products in Mine Hill for the last three years. Previously, he worked in the same capacity with Standard Roofing Company and Arzee Supply Company both of Cedar Knolls.
Mr. Massarella was the owner of a racing car and was an avid Auto Racing fan. He was also an avid photographer and collector of Oriental Antiques.
He is survived by two sons, Christopher T. Massarella of Lake Hiawatha and Douglas J. Massarella of Boonton; a sister, Susan Massarella-Mollo of New York; a nephew, Andrew Perez; and his former wife Lydia Massarella of Boonton.
