Mr. Josemarie Melvin Del Rosario Paderna died suddenly, Sunday, November 4, 2007 at his home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany. He was 34. Born in Bacolod City, Philippines, he came to the United States in 1994 settling in Parsippany. He had lived in Lake Hiawatha since 1999. Mr. Paderna graduated Magna Cum Laude and 5th in his class from De La Salle University, Bacaloc City, Philippines in 1993. He was a registered as professional nurse in New York State in 1994, certified as a gerontology nurse by the Americn Nurse's Credentialing Center in 1998, and was certifed as a Transplant Surgeon Designee in 2000. Additionally, he was board certified by the American Nurse's Credentialing Center in nursing administration in 2000. He was also a certified hemodialysis therapist. He had worked with various health care facilities in the area, including Pine Brook Dialysis Center, Pine Brook, Remix Renal Care Group in Montclair and most recently, Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge. Survivors include his parents, Perfecto Jr. and Mitzi (nee Del Rosario) Paderna; a brother, Perfecto Paderna III; four sisters, Rosemarie Paderna, Peachy Caparas, Sheila Ruiz, and Winnie Paderna; and many extended family members in the United States and the Philippines.
